They load, when they are enlarged, or when you click into the stories. They don't display otherwise, when on mobile. This isn't a bug...

What the hell?

Why did they remove a basic characteristic of a blog from mobile? I want to see pictures when I browse on mobile!

Declining mobile readership is what I was told when I asked the exact same question before they did it. If enough of us complain, I would like to think that they will change it back.

Because idk if me bitching on oppo is the best way to be heard.

It's been voiced. Just edit this post with a Kinja Help tag. One of the folks from Gawker/Kinja help will see it, and will probably let you know that it's functioning as intended. But then at least you'll be heard.

Hi Baron. Tony here. I am able to see images on mobile just fine. What device are you using? Thanks!

Motorola RAZR M. Chrome browser.

Some images on FP posts load but others (the majority) do not.

Thanks.

This is happening on my Chrome browser on my office PC! Oh, and Firefox too. Sometimes it loads everything but the formatting is screwed up

This will be addressed in the near future. We removed mobile images to improve performance, however we're planning on getting more creative with the solution so images can continue on in mobile devices.
